Cheryl Nyman is a songwriter, singer, and keyboardist. Based in New York, she has composed pop, electronic, and experimental music. Her speciality is instrumental music for film and television. She has studied at Berklee School of Music for orchestration and has been featured on iTunes, CDBaby, and Spotify. Cheryl was featured on Lakeland Records first compilation CD released in the United Kingdom.

Cheryl is inspired by musicians' Wendy Carlos, Danny Elfman, Mark Mothersbaugh, Giorgio Moroder, Harold Faltermeyer, Thomas Newman, Hans Zimmer, Two Steps from Hell, Daft Punk, Goldfrapp, and Cyndi Lauper.
